(nearly) free learner mandolin

All:

I've always believed that, whenever possible, musical instruments should
be passed on as gifts of friendship rather than being sold.

In that spirit, I have a learner mandolin in good shape that plays well. All it needs is love, a new set of strings, and possibly minor adjustment.

So... Here's the deal...

If:

(a) we've met personally
(b) you've wanted to learn to play the mandolin but don't have one
(c) you promise to pass it on in the same fashion when done with it
(d) you're willing to pay the cost of shipping

p.s. It'd be best if you're located in North America. Otherwise, the cost of shipping might exceed the value of the instrument.

Nnngh, oh man, we've never met, but I am so terribly hooked on learning new instruments and the mandolin seems so fun!
Oh well. Too little, too late, too ill-acquainted. That'll teach me to go on the cruise and be present at the PAXs. I hope it finds a good home

@CeeCee_C I would have loved it also but wrong side of pond and wrong point in history. Beyond that, I wanted to just say how great an idea and thought this was. I hope it brings great joy to whoever has accepted it. The world needs more like you.
